HR Community is a reference site for people who run HR and payroll in Sri Lanka: HR managers, accountants, payroll officers and business owners. It covers the statutory rules (EPF, ETF, APIT, gratuity, overtime, leave and the Shop and Office Act), gives calculators that show their working, and compares the HR and payroll software sold in the country.
Who writes it
Articles are written and fact-checked by the HR Community editorial team: payroll practitioners who have run monthly payroll for Sri Lankan companies from 20 to several thousand employees, including factories, hotels, plantations and offices. Every guide names the Act, regulation or Inland Revenue circular it relies on and carries the date it was last checked.
How it is funded
HR Community does not sell placement in rankings, does not run sponsored reviews, and does not accept payment from any vendor for coverage. Every vendor is scored on the same published criteria with the same sources and check dates, and the cons of every product are listed in full. The editorial policy spells this out.

If a rate, a deadline or a vendor fact on this site is wrong or out of date, email [email protected]. Vendors can request a fact check of their own profile at any time; we update the profile and the check date, and we do not charge for it.
